Day 4 — Keep It Boring

Meal prep, software work, and a quiet Sunday before Monday returns.

A wooden desk against a white brick wall, with a closed laptop, typewriter, books, notebooks, and a mug, beside a gray chair and mustard-colored sofa.

Sunday, October 4th.

Thinking to myself what I should do for meal prep.

The beef and vegetables you recently bought!

My mind answers quickly.

So, the plan is set: 90/10 ground beef, seared and browned, onions, and egg whites scrambled over rice I cooked yesterday.

Dinner is done, along with lunch and dinner for a few days.

Time taken: 35 minutes.

It’s a warm morning. The last few days have been in the upper 80s here in the City.

Good time to get started on my ongoing software development.

The main project work: tighten up trust in the product and make sure the records are true.

I open my other project and load up.

One thing I enjoy about building is the purpose it brings. It’s soothing. Quiet. Just you and the many decisions and visions.

To see how you envision something being rendered from idea to execution is a great feeling.

There I go telling you guys how I can spend most afternoons (smiles).

A few hours pass, and the once-blue sky is now black.

Today has been a chill day.

Monday is back to work.

Keep it boring.
