Day 12 — Picking Up Where I Left Off

One day of rest doesn't erase the work. Sometimes it's what allows you to continue.

October 12th, 2026.

Today, I have rested well.

A bit of continuation from yesterday.

I didn’t manufacture any writing for Sunday because the truth is, I turned everything off and practiced what I preach about recovery.

When you’ve been working and working, pushing on, only You know when it’s time to take a break.

Stop and get You in order.

Sometimes you need to pause the work. Take care of things around the house, clear your mind, and give your body time to recharge. That’s important, too.

Today, I’m back at it. Showing up with a better attitude, rested bones, and a clear mind.

I’m preparing dinner for tonight: 2 lbs of grass-fed 90/10 ground beef, onions, garlic, chimichurri, and steak seasonings.

This will go over a cup of rice. I’ve paired that with a Greek salad from Trader Joe’s and a Sanpellegrino Zero Sugar Blood Orange drink.

I feel much better and ready to continue on with the work before me.

Thank you for continuing to support and read my work, and I hope that you also are taking care of yourself.

And remember, one day away doesn’t mean everything you’ve been working towards is wasted.

Pick up from where you last stopped and get back to work.
